We played hookey from (a half day) work two weeks ago and took the kids to Jim Thorpe to see the old Jail and the handprint. {Cause yeah. That's the type of parents we are - it's summer - let's go visit historical sites! Yay!} It was actually very interesting to the kids. Miss L had done a report on the Molly Maguires for school, and we'd wanted to take her then, but it was winter and the Jail was closed. It was worth the trip. |
